Latino Program Services

Latino Program focuses on providing culturally appropriate services to Latino victims. For more information about our services, call (630) 221-8290 and ask to speak to the Latino Program Coordinator. All services are free and confidential, regardless of immigration status.

Support Groups

Allows participants the opportunity to share their experiences, break down isolation, deepen knowledge of domestic violence and identify and prevent abuse.

Individual Counseling

Help victims cope with the effects of domestic violence.

Legal Clinic

Once a month, a lawyer comes to our agency to provide free legal advice to our clients. ***Must be a client of FSS to be eligible for this service.

Orders of Protection

An order of protection can be obtained for protection against the abuser. To get an order of protection you must go to DuPage County Courthouse, 505 N. County Farm Rd Wheaton, Il 60187. Family Shelter court advocates are located on the 3rd floor. Please don’t bring any camera phones. There is free child care at Safe Harbor. For more information, please call (630) 407-8813 and ask to speak with a bilingual court advocate.

Crisis Hotline (630) 469-5650

Hotline provides access to information and services 24 hours a day.  If a bilingual/bicultural staff is not available, please leave a message and your call will be returned within 48 hours.

Shelter (630 ) 469-5650

Offers a safe haven to victims of domestic violence and their children. Ask to speak to a bilingual Women and Children’s advocate.

Intermediate Housing

Offers extended shelter stays for those moving towards self-sufficiency.


***Important Note: We do not require a social security number to stay at our shelter or intermediate Housing.
