Latina Services

Educational/Support Groups
For women who want to learn more about domestic violence, resources that are available, and to explore their options.

Moms & Kids Groups
Support group for victims of domestic violence and for their children ages 4-13.

Legal Clinic
Once a month, a lawyer comes to FSS and provides free individual legal advice to our clients.

Orders of Protection
Through our legal advocates, an Order of Protection can be obtained for protection against the abuser. For this service, please call the advocacy program at 630-407-8813 to speak with a bilingual advocate.

Individual counseling
Available for women and children.

If a bilingual counselor is not available, please leave a message and one will get back to you as soon as possible.

Shelter
Temporary safe housing for victims of domestic abuse and their children.

English as a Second Language (ESL) classes
ESL classes are provided to clients of Family Shelter Service.
